Why should a home schooler choose an IGCSE Business Studies course rather than a GCSE?

The government's new requirements for Business Studies GCSE make the subject more or less impossible for home educators. GCSE coursework has become controlled assessment and all candidates must prepare their coursework in strictly supervised conditions. Unless you are studying in a school classroom, say, it is not feasible to satisfy the new requirements. Beware of anyone who tells you that GCSE Business Studies is still possible by Home Education. It isn't.

Fortunately, IGCSE Business Studies is the perfect replacement. It has two main advantages. No coursework is required and it is, academically, a little more rigorous than GCSE. So it carries more weight with universities and employers and it puts you in  a better position to tackle A-level Business Studies, if you wish. Please click here for the IGCSE Business Studies Page
