Qualified Tutors

All Oxford Home Schooling tutors are fully qualified teachers holding either a Post Graduate Certificate in Education or a Bachelors Degree in Education. So when you enrol on one of our courses you can be assured of the assistance of a professionally qualified subject specific tutor.

Assignments

All Oxford Home Schooling courses have tutor marked assignments within them. We call these TMAs. Your tutor will mark these pieces of work and give you specific help based on your answers. In addition to this specific help, Oxford Home Schooling will add a specimen answer to help you see where your strengths and weaknesses lie. Telephone Support

Oxford Home Schooling tutors have a local rate telephone number such as a 0845 number. This means that when you phone your tutor it will only cost you the price of a local call. Whilst the student is still actively submitting assignments, they should expect to be proactively contacted by their tutor regularly. The tutor will be perfectly happy to discuss the student's progress with a designated adult and may well contact them if they are worried by the lack of progress. However, tuition should always happen directly rather than via an intermediary. Remember, to get the most out of a tutor, the student will need to tell them when they need assistance.
