    International GCSE Business

    Course information

    Covering all the basics a future entrepreneur will need, including accountancy, human resources and marketing, the International GCSE Business course has long been a popular choice for students that wish to start their own business in the future, or assist in the management of a well-established organisation.

    The course itself is made up of five modules

    • Module One: Business Activity and the Changing Environment
    • Module Two: Human Resources
    • Module Three: Accounting and Finance
    • Module Four: Production
    • Module Five: Marketing

    There are 22 lessons and 9 tutor-marked assessments – the purpose of which is to both challenge and test the students, providing them with a solid grounding on which their future careers can be built.

     

    International GCSE Business

    Throughout the course, case studies will be provided to help the students develop their analytical skills, all while bringing them face-to-face with real-world businesses and the climates in which they operate – political, economical or social.

    Examinations

    The examinations taken on the International GCSE Business course are split into two.

    The first – Paper 2 –  contributes 50% of the final mark. This examination will last for 90 minutes and covers the entirety of the specification.  Questions will relate to small companies with up to 49 employees.

    The second examination – Paper 2 – contributes 50% of the final mark. This examination will last for 90 minutes and covers the entirety of the specification.  Questions will relate to companies with more than 250 employees.

    Course duration and study time

    When you enrol with Oxford Home Schooling we will agree on an intended examination date with you.  Your support will last all the way up to this examination date, regardless of whether you decide to do the course in 9 months or 30.

    The recommended number of study hours for this course is 200 hours.

    Our International GCSE Business course fee is £395.

    You may pay using our interest-free easy payment scheme. Pay a £79 deposit followed by eight monthly instalments of £39.50.
