Angeline Keightley

I’m a qualified science teacher with extensive experience teaching and tutoring students from KS3 through to A-Level. I particularly enjoy helping students who have lost confidence in science, find certain topics overwhelming, or understand the content but struggle to apply their knowledge in exam questions.

My approach is friendly, patient and structured. I break difficult ideas into manageable steps and encourage students to ask questions, make mistakes and develop a genuine understanding rather than simply memorising facts. As students become more confident, we focus increasingly on applying their knowledge and developing strong examination technique.

I have considerable experience of online education and have supported online and home-educated students for many years. I understand that learning remotely can require a slightly different approach, and I work hard to make lessons interactive and give students the confidence to participate rather than simply listen.

I teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3, GCSE and International GCSE level, including International GCSE Human Biology, and Biology at A-Level.
