My approach is to determine what area each student needs help with and to provide the necessary support; whether it be one-to-one dialogue and tuition, responding to email enquiries promptly, marking of assignments, or providing suitable resources and materials, where requested.

Previous experience: As well as teaching English Lang and Lit at IGCSE and GCSE Level, I have taught English as a Second Language and Foreign Language, including during 4 years in Tokyo, Japan. I have also taught Key Skills and Functional Skills in Maths and English, Business Communication, English for Secretarial Skills, Speech writing, Elocution and Pronunciation skills, Creative Writing and Access Courses, Study Skills, PLAB Language Test for Overseas Doctors, Numeracy, Literacy, Number Power and Word Power, Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Studies, and 11 plus (all subjects) in a variety of settings, both in the public and private sector. I have also taught Maths and Assisted with Special needs and English in a Theatre School in London.
