About Lynne Hallam
I have been a languages teacher for over 30 years, teaching German in both state and top independent schools in the North East of England. I have taught beginners, GCSE, IGCSE and A Level, with a proven track record of success. I also teach English as a second language to adults, from beginners to C2, in person and online. I offer a warm, safe and welcoming environment in which to practise and improve your language skills, and look forward to helping you reach your language goals, whatever they may be.
Qualifications and experience
I have a PhD in German Literature, a PGCE, and CELTA qualification (Pass A). I have 33 years of experience teaching German, from Beginners to Advanced Level, for both children and adults. With a CELTA qualification, I have experience of teaching English as a Second language online and Functional Skills Entry Levels 1,2 and 3 in both English and Maths.
