The Poetry of Science Competition 2020

The IF Oxford 2020 Poetry of Science Competition

This October, Oxford’s Science and Ideas Festival returns again.

And so too does its annual writing contest. The IF Oxford 2020 Poetry of Science competition is open to budding young writers in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, at both primary and secondary level. There is a link at the bottom of this page to the competition’s website, and you can find the full terms and conditions there.

The closing date for entries is April 30th.

Science and English might not immediately seem suited to one another. But a bit of imagination and pen to paper (or finger to keyboard) gives you the opportunity to change that thought. Do you think you have what it takes? There are some fantastic prizes on offer to the winner.

    Good luck!
