Frequently asked questions

Here are some of the common questions families and students ask before choosing an Oxford Home Schooling course.

Can my child study at home with Oxford Home Schooling?

Yes. Our courses are designed for students learning at home, whether they are being fully home educated, need extra subject support, or require a more flexible way to study.

What course levels do you offer?

We offer Key Stage 3, GCSE, IGCSE and A Level courses across a range of subjects. Students can choose individual subjects rather than committing to a full timetable.

How does the monthly subscription work?

Students subscribe to the course materials they need. The minimum subscription period is six months, and after that the subscription can be cancelled when no longer required.

Can we buy printed course materials?

All our courses offer printed, spiral-bound course packs as an optional extra. Students can use these alongside the online course materials.

Are your courses suitable for private candidates?

Yes. Many students use our GCSE, IGCSE and A Level courses while preparing as private candidates. Students or families are responsible for arranging exam entry with an appropriate exam centre.

Can students study more than one subject?

Yes. Students can subscribe to more than one course, allowing families to build a programme of study around the subjects and level the student needs.

What if I am not sure which course is right?

You can browse our course pages for more detail or contact us for guidance before choosing. We can help you understand the available levels and options.
