Prior learning required?
To benefit fully from this course, it helps if you have covered the science skills developed in the Oxford Home Schooling Year 7 and Year 8 courses and we recommend checking that the topics in those courses have been satisfactorily covered before starting work on Year 9. But there are no specific prior learning requirements and, where necessary, there is a reminder of the basics already covered. There are no final examinations and no formal assessment at KS3 level.
