Covering all the basics a future entrepreneur will need, including accountancy, human resources and marketing, the Business Studies IGCSE course has long been a popular choice for students that wish to start their own business in the future, or assist in the management of a well-established organisation.
The course itself is made up of five modules, 22 lessons and 9 tutor-marked assessments – the purpose of which is to both challenge and test the students, providing them with a solid grounding on which their future careers can be built.
Throughout the course, case studies will be provided to help the students develop their analytical skills, all while bringing them face-to-face with real-world businesses and the climates in which they operate – political, economical or social.

After successfully obtaining their Business Studies IGCSE, the majority of students go on to study a finance-related subject – such as economics or business – at AS and A2 level.
Following this, some students choose to enter the world of work as trainees in both the private and public sector, while others choose to continue their studies by taking a degree at university.
