What is Boost?
Boost is the new digital content and learning platform from Hodder Educational Publishing. The Oxford Open Learning Trust uses this platform to support its Modern Foreign Language students in accessing a free Ebook of the supporting text and in accessing the teacher resources to the supporting text.
These resources vary from subject to subject but might include
- Ebook versions of the printed material
- Practice Examination papers
- Audio recordings
- Online tests or activities
- Mark Schemes and teacher notes
Each Oxford Home Schooling course that is linked to Boost has different resources which will be clearly described on the relevant subject page.
These resources are for you to do in your own time as additional practice, any activities within the supporting text or the Boost learning platform are not activities that our tutors mark.
Accessing Boost
In order to access Boost, you will be sent an email from Oxford Home Schooling with your username and centre number. Hodder will send you your password. You can log in to Boost here. Your username is the email address you provided us with at enrolment. If you have forgotten your password you can use the password reset function on the login page so long as you have access to the email address.
